Seagate ST3290A
The 260MB Seagate ST3290A was as typical a Seagate drive from this period as any: not particularly fast, quite reliable, generally fuss-free, and excellent value for money.
The ST3290A looked almost exactly the same as a Medalist 545xe, or for that matter much the same as all the other mainstream Seagate IDE drives made in the early to mid 1990s.
Notice the model number: like all Seagate drives until about 1995, it is based on the unformatted capacity.
